Break for now

March 31st 2011 18:16
I thought about writing about the Lockout on here but I decided that I don't have the time to do so. Besides, what else is there to say anyway?

Plans for the future

February 11th 2011 19:01
I'll probably look at the lockout and see if it is going to happen. After that, I'll look at some ideas of what's going to happen with each team and the thought of how a team turns around in one season.

Shocking Teams in the NFL

December 11th 2010 19:23
It has been another season of surprises and seems to be a theme. The most shocking is probably the NFC West considering that nobody is really running away with the division and the fact that a team with a .500 winning percentage could win it. It seems a bit crazy but possible nevertheless.

I wrote an article about the matter at hand. By this point, there still hasn't been all the teams added. Some would have been shocked by Minnesota that they have fallen down but it's debatable because the question was whether Favre had it anymore and it looks like he's done and this scandal with him has been a distraction.

The Browns are surprising in that they are not getting blown out. All that is left is closing games out with victories and if they can do better the next season, then there is a chance for a playoff spot. It is unlikely they will make it but a team that could be classified as going the right way for a change.

As far as the playoff picture, it's going to be interesting to project the weekly ones. Once the dust settles, then it becomes easier to go by week after week.

I'm taking a break right now from it as there really isn't much NFL activity in regards to games. Perhaps after the draft, I could have a better perspective on it. If anyone would want to apply, then by all means do so. It'd help keep it active.

After the entire season, there are some final thoughts overall when it comes to the season and the post-season. Without question, there have been some upsets but it's time for some team awards. This will be my last blog post for a few months. I'll wait for the next season.

Upset of the Year: Cleveland Browns defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers. Who would have imagined that one happening?

And then there were four....

February 1st 2010 18:14
This has to be a look at now four teams in general that have never been to the Super Bowl. The question is going to be who will be next on the list. It seems like it is possible but as far as winning it goes, that's another story. It comes down to who is going to be willing to put it together to finally get there and then see if they can finally pull it off. For what it is worth, 3 AFC teams have yet to make it and 1 NFC so it could be possible to have a first time match up with two first time teams.

Cleveland Browns-If you consider it one entity, they've never done it and have eight league titles and this was before the Super Bowl. They've had misery and could be said that they have been destined to be a failure franchise. The last four games may have shown some possible improvement but it will take more than that. They need to come out of the gate a lot stronger and more dangerous than ever
