Can Mangini and Kokinis Work in Cleveland?
March 11th 2009 02:39
It's official about them being apart of the Cleveland Browns as it is going to be an interesting challenge. Another bad season will really make people question why they are Browns fan if they aren't right now. Yes, the AFC North will be hard to win but that doesn't mean that it is time to give up. Nobody really knows how he'll do as a coach in Cleveland and it's fair to give him a chance. I don't have much info on Kokinis but we'll have to see what he does in terms of picking up players.
It's about being wise and making wise decisions that will change the team for the better. Winslow being traded I think will work out and besides could you count on him to stay healthy long enough for a season? He played 44/80 games for five seasons and that isn't a good thing.
Now, I'm not expecting a Super Bowl Title but I am expecting some type of improvement and I don't mind one more win. For this team, 8-8 would be successful considering it has been doom and gloom since this incarnation of the Browns have existed. I think given that the Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Falcons, whom improved this past season, can make a big turn around for the better, so can Cleveland.
To answer the question, Mangini and Kokinis can work and it is possible. As a fan, all you can do is at least give them a chance to do something positive and I think they can do well. I really do.
This is going to be an interesting tenure for them and may it last a good while. It needs to succeed.
