It has Begun

The NFL season has just begun. The Giants won on Thursday over the Redskins and what I got was that Washington needs an offense but the defense didn't exactly let this game get out of reach. The final score was 16-7, quite a low scoring game wouldn't you say? Does that mean much at this moment? Yes and no. The no part is that it won't dictate how a season goes while the yes part means it could play a role in how a team will look coming out of the gate.
The big match up I am anticipating will be Cleveland and Dallas. These two teams hold a special place with me on a personal level. The main theme will be for Cleveland is proving a point that last season was no fluke. In order to prove it, they must make the playoffs. I do not expect it to be a blowout and it would be a disappointment if it actually ends up happening. Here could be two teams that could be in the post-season.
The favorite is Dallas and why would that be surprising. Cleveland would never be a favorite against almost anyone except maybe the Bengals but that's another story for another time.
The Jets will probably beat the Dolphins not because of who is the Quarterback but because Miami right now has a lot of questions of can they really get more wins that last year? The only thing worse than 1 win would be none at all and anymore would be an improvement.
So many questions to answer and yet not enough time. This is going to short and sweet. This season is going to have some interesting questions answered and more often than not questions asked about specific teams.
