Am I the only one who thinks it is absolutely crazy that the NFL is trying to make players tuck their hair into their helmets? What ever happened to the freedom to express your self? This is one of the freedoms that makes this country great. The only reason they are trying to put this into effect is so that fans can see they entire jersey and hopefully sales will go up. I think that this will make sales go down. Troy Polamalu looks like a warrior when he is running with his hair bouncing all over the place to make a hit or intercept a ball.. It is intimidating. Now I know that the rule has been set aside for now. But as i hear it NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is suggesting that the owners put this into effect for their teams. If this happens their will be an uproar of protest from both players and fans. I think the individuality of the players is one of the things that makes this sport great. I would hate to see it change. How exciting is it to see a player with hair flowing out of the back of helmet? It is like watching gladiators prepare for war. I Love it. The owners need to shoot this proposal down and not allow the individuality of their players be compromised.
