NFL Week 15 Preview – AFC v AFC
The following is a preview of games played between AFC teams
Denver Broncos (10-3) at Baltimore Ravens (9-4)
The Broncos are on a mighty 8 game winning streak and travel to Baltimore, who have lost two in a row. It will be interesting to see how Peyton Manning’s old coach Jim Caldwell handles the Ravens’ offense now that Cam Cameron has been removed from the post. Chances are, things will be in too much disarray to match the awesome preparedness of Manning.
Jacksonville Jaguars (2-11) at Miami Dolphins (5-8)
Miami’s great start to 2012 has taken a dive over the last 5 games, losing 4 of 5. The have drifted out of any playoff hopes but will still salvage some pride with a win against an in-state foe. Jacksonville will be in valuation mode as they are running towards a top five draft pick in 2013.
New York Jets (6-7) at Tennessee Titans (4-9)
In a surprisingly rare intelligent move by the Jets, they picked up Braylon Edwards (who does still have a lot of talent) in hopes to shore up the receivers core. It wouldn’t have hurt to even throw Terrell Owens into the mix to give the very inconsistent Mark Sanchez some big targets. The Titans will be trying to find the momentum they had earlier this season to end on a positive note as they look towards next season.
